FAQ
What is the range in Arcachon basin?
About 4–5 m at the entrance, reduced inside the basin. Currents are strong in the passes; access to the sandbanks depends closely on the tide.
Does La Rochelle have big tides?
The range is around 6 m at springs : less than North Brittany, but enough to expose fine flats in the straits at big coefficients.
